Yes. I know its probably hard to believe but yes it's really is. The website is kept running by your donations, our merchandise and the small amount of advertising. So please if you're a regular user consider throwing a few dollars our way, without it we'll go broke and fall off the face of the Earth.
For the best experience we reccomend dowloading Firefox. There's a handy link right there on the left. Other web browsing software that we've tested are: - Firefox 2 (Win, Mac OS X, Linux) - Internet Explorer 6 (Win) - Internet Explorer 7 (Win) - Safari (Mac OS X) - Opera (Mac OS X) Please let us know if you're having trouble with another browser and we'll do our best to sort things out for you.

The easiest way to enter data (glucose levels and/or insulin dosages) is by going to the "Add Data" section of the website. You may also submit data via email & sms. There is a tutorial in our Help section for all 3 methods.
Firstly you'll need to find the data you want to edit. You can do this by searching for any entry or by browsing through your recent entries on your home page after logging in. To edit an entry simply click on the entry to have the edit window appear. To delete an entry click on the "-" icon next to the record.
Meal times are used for us to try and match your data entries with their appropriate meal categories (before breakfast, after lunch, etc.) just as you would normally do with an Insulin Diary. Although it's not necessary for you to select these it's there to make things easier for you.
If you choose you may enter an "Alternate" or second email address that will allow you to make data submissions from two different email addresses. This may be handy if you have one email account at work and another at home, it means we'll know that both accounts refer to you.
Diabetic Days has the fantastic feature of being able to receive your new entries via SMS text messages from mobile phones. In order for us to know who's entries belong to who we need to know the mobile phone number you're sending them from.
One Reading Only If you're submitting one level at the time you email it you only need to have the glucose level itself with no date or time, it will automatically use the time you sent the email for that. eg. 5.5 One Insulin Dosage Only eg. insulin 14 Actrapid Multiple Readings or Specific Date & Times If you'd like to submit 1 or more levels and/or insulin dosage with a specified date and time for that reading please follow this template: NOTE: These examples use the dd/mm/yyyy date format, if you've selected the US date format (mm/dd/yyy) you would enter the date accoringly. [glucose level] [hour]:[minute] [day]/[month]/[year] eg. 8.8 14:00 31/8/2006 AND/OR for insulin... insulin [dosage] [insulin type] [hour]:[minute] [day]/[month]/[year] eg. insulin 12 actrapid 12:02 31/8/2006 Manually Specifying Meal Times Meal times can be added on to the end of any line to classify when a reading or insulin dosage was completed. This is extremely helpful for tracking your diabetes information. You can specify meal times by adding one of the following options to the end of any data line: BB (Before Breakfast), AB (After Breakfast) BL (Before Lunch), AL (After Lunch) BD (Before Dinner), AD (After Dinner) and BED (Before Bed) eg. 5.5 BL This would record a blood glucose level of 5.5 and classify it as your Before Lunch reading. Remember an email submission may contain multiple lines using any combination of the above templates.
NOTE: SMS submissions are limited to one record per SMS. Blood Sugar Reading Only the reading itself is required, it will automatically log the reading against the time and date you sent the SMS. eg. 5.5 One Insulin Dosage Only eg. insulin 14 Actrapid Specific Date & Time If you'd like to submit a levels or insulin dosage with a specified date and time for that reading please follow this template: NOTE: These examples use the dd/mm/yyyy date format, if you've selected the US date format (mm/dd/yyy) you would enter the date accoringly.
